CheerCon – The Experience

Recently we competed at Cheer Con. It’s a competition that’s held annually in our local area. It’s a usually a fairly small comp that helps us all get our routines ready for States which is in a few weeks. But this comp has grown a lot – much like the sport of cheerleading in Australia. The grandstands were full and so was the program! Even with the increase in numbers everything ran on time, our club did well and overall it was a very positive experience.

I thought I’d share some photos of what it’s like to be part of a cheer family. The fun, the friendships, the glitter and the lights. This is an amazing sport that really brings out the best in everyone.
