Chloe’s Penguin

This is a simple penguin craft activity that we did in class.

What you need:

  • paint
  • glitter
  • paint brush
  • art paper

What to do:

Paint a large white oval

Cover the oval with glitter. Shake off excess glitter before continuing.

Paint a small black circle (this will be the penguin’s head)

Paint a larger black oval around the white oval and add some wings.

Add an orange beak and grey feet.


Chloe’s Snowy Wreaths

What you need:

  • Craft wire
  • Feather bower
  • Fabric glue
  • Sequins

What to do:

Wrap the boa around your head to size your wreath 

Cut the boa with sharp scissors to your size.

Cut the wire the same length as the boa.

Intwine the boa and wire.

Join the ends by twisting the wire ends together.

Add sequins to your wreath by applying small amounts of fabric glue. 

And you are finished!

Chloe’s Cotton Tip Snowflakes 

What you need:

  • Cotton tips 
  • Glue
  • Coloured paper (or painted background)
  • Sequins
  • Scissors

What to do:

Cut the cotton tips in half

Put blobs of glue randomly across the page

Arrange cotton tips into snowflake patterns with the glue as the centre. Add sequins.

Allow the glue to dry.

Penguin Faces

What you need:

  • Paper plate
  • Google eyes
  • Black paint 
  • Orange paint
  • Paint brush
  • Glue

What to do:

Add markings to the penguin with black paint

Put two blobs of glue onto the plate for the eyes

Place the eyes onto the glue

Add a beak with orange paint 

And you’re done! 

Chloe’s Snow Storm

What you need:

  • Paint
  • Glitter
  • Sequins
  • Cardboard
  • Scrap cardboard

What to do:

Splatter some glitter over your cardboard

And some silver paint

And pearl paint..

Sprinkle some glitter.. And smoosh it all up with your scrap card board

Add some turquoise paint.. Smoosh!

Chloe’s Queen Elsa Crown

What you need:

  • Crown cut outs (or you can make your own)
  • Glitter 
  • Beads
  • Sequins
  • Craft glue
  • Paint brush

What to do:

Coat the entire crown in craft glue 

Arrange beads and sequins in any design you like

Cover the whole crown in glitter 

When the crown is dry, shake off the excess glitter (you can usually save it and pour it back into a jar).

And you’re all done!
