Absolute Thai Hornsby

Last night my cheer club (coaches and volunteers) dined at Absolute Thai. The wait staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly and was delicious. There were so many options. I had the chicken pad Thai but shared some other yummy dishes too. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone. It is reasonably priced, the food portions were generous and the good itself very tasty – what more can you want?

The Cook’s Garden

Yesterday a friend and I had breakfast at The Cook’s Garden in North Turramurra. It’s a very welcoming cafe that has some quirky decor and decent food. It’s not overly priced and the service was great. The good was served promptly and was delicious 😀! There’s plenty of parking around the back of the building.

I’d recommend it to anyone in the area.

I’ve provided the menu below:

New Shanghai

img_5019img_5014img_5018img_5015 This Chinese restaurant is located in Chatswood (in the Lemon Grove). I have eaten here several times and always been satisfied. The food is amazing, fresh and comes out of the kitchen so quickly. We spent a total of twenty minutes in the restaurant from sitting down to paying our bill. It’s so cheap. Always very popular so sometimes there’s a wait for a table but it’s worth it! Best dumplings I have ever eaten – every time. Plenty of vegetarian options too. Definitely give out of five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Max Brenner

Today for dessert we visited Max Brenner in Castle Hill. I am a chocolate lover.. And this shop/cafe has never disappointed me. My only criticism is my very very full belly!! Five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hog’s Breath Cafe

So I’ve just had lunch with a friend of mine at Hog’s Breath in Castle Hill. We have been here a few times before and have been reasonably satisfied. The service was friendly, attentive and the food came quickly. We decided to try the cheap lunches.. They tasted cheap too. So I wouldn’t advise that menu. Stick to the normal menu guys and you’ll be fine! There wasn’t anything wrong with the food but it wasn’t anything overly great either. I give the experience a three out of five. 🌟🌟🌟

Galston Deli

Galston is what I would consider my home town. I went to school in this suburb and it will always be a special place to me. I wanted to share a local secret – the deli! It’s tucked away in the row of shops in the village. It’s the place to go for gourmet goodies, fresh sandwiches, sweets and slices and yummy ice creams. It has always been reasonably priced and stocked full of fresh and homemade delicacies. This shop is a five out of five! *****

Beehive Cafe

Today I had brunch at the Beehive Cage in Beecroft. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the French toast which was cooked beautifully and well presented. My friend had the eggs benedict which she said was also good. The prices were very reasonable. Serving portions were generous. I would definitely visit again. Five out of five *****

The Stuffed Beaver

Today in Bondi I visited ‘The Stuffed Beaver’ for lunch. It’s a quirky hipster restaurant that serves a range of North American styled meals.

My friend tried the various tacos on offer as well as the Hawaiian wings. I had the ‘Fillet of Kish’ burger which was a vegetarian option and we devoured three ice cream sandwiches between us.

The meal sizes were quite small and but everything was delicious. I have included a menu below for anyone who is curious to see what else is available.

The serving staff were attentive and friendly. There wasn’t a long wait on food and when it did arrive it was presented simply but tastefully. The decor was eclectic and a little cheeky. I would definitely eat here again.

I’d rate this place a four out of five (lost a point for portion sizes). 🌟🌟🌟🌟
